Tarka Trail

A 180-mile walking and cycling route through North Devon, inspired by Henry Williamson's novel Tarka the Otter. The traffic-free section between Bideford, Barnstaple and Torrington along a former railway line is ideal for families and easy cycling. Bike hire is available at several points along the route.
